About Our
School
Saint Brendan School
offers:
A quality
education in a secure, safe and disciplined learning environment.
A challenging academic education integrated with the Catholic values and morals
developing the whole child spiritually, intellectually, physically and socially.
Sound Christian values, which will equip students with appropriate wisdom, attitudes, skills and knowledge, to lead a fulfilling and productive life in which service to others is a key aspect.
A choice for the
future...
St. Brendan
School will educate the spirit as well as the intellect. Our environment
emphasizes Christian values; an atmosphere that fosters responsibility and
requires courtesy.
Catholic Schools were once considered only for Catholic students. Now, however, Catholic schools welcome all students who want a challenging education in an environment of love, trust and loyalty.
Students in a Catholic school do better academically and are more likely to go on to college. Here at St. Brendan School, you can be assured that your child will receive a strong academic education in surroundings structured to have lasting value. Self-discipline, responsibility and self-motivation are among the benefits of our school.
Teaching the "whole" child is a priority, and lessons in courtesy, respect and responsibility will be part of your child's daily life at St. Brendan School.

Values...
We place the
teachings of the Catholic faith at the core of the curriculum so that religious
values permeate all subject areas.
The aim of these classes is the total moral development of each child. Students take what they learn and apply it to everyday life.
When the lessons of right and wrong are learned at home, it is then reinforced in school, where the impact is so much greater.
Look beyond the
facilities...
The programs,
teachers and services at St. Brendan School, combined with the school's
leadership and vision, will create an outstanding educational experience for
your child.
The faculty members here at St.
Brendan are one of its most important assets. Our faculty is Highly Qualified and provide a supportive and challenging academic environment. They
teach children from diverse backgrounds to develop confidence in their
abilities. Our faculty encourages our students to be effective witnesses of
Christ's love and productive members of society.
We look
forward to welcoming your child to the St. Brendan's Community!
Cardinal's
Scholarship Program (CSP)
Cardinal's
Scholarship Program has been providing low-income families with an option to the
public school system. The amount of the scholarship is based on individual
families' needs.
Applications are accepted from students entering Catholic school in grades K through 6 and the scholarship will follow the student through the 8th grade as long as the student remains eligible. The scholarship will pay up to 75% of the total tuition.
The CSP administers this program, including the application process. If you are a parent in need of more information about this program, please go to the Children's Scholarship Fund website www.scholarshipfund.org or call them directly at (212) 515-7137.
The Catholic schools of the Archdiocese of New York help these children get the quality education they need to learn, grow and succeed - and the results are astounding: 98% of high school seniors graduate and 97% of those pursue higher education.
